Sex Control K tablets for regulating sexual behaviour in cats
Sex Control K tabs for interrupting oestrus in cats - a product designed to reduce sexual activity in cats and associated unwanted behaviors. This product helps gently and safely reduce signs of heat and makes caring for your pet during this period easier.
Each tablet contains the active ingredient megestrol acetate – 5 mg, and the following excipients: lactose – 91.95 mg, starch – 11 mg, magnesium stearate – 1 mg, gelatin – 1 mg, and food coloring E161j – 0.05 mg.
The drug is given orally on the root of the tongue 1–2 hours before feeding. To reduce sexual activity in male cats, give 1 tablet per day for the first 7 days, then ½ tablet per day for 14 days.
Sex-Control K is prescribed for cats to regulate sexual activity. In females — to delay or interrupt estrus; in males — to reduce sexual arousal and modify behavior.
Do not use in cases of urinary or reproductive system diseases, tumors, diabetes, immaturity, pregnancy, or lactation.
Overdose has not been observed. Side effects are rare and may include changes in appetite, behavior, or enlargement of mammary glands with prolonged use. The drug is compatible with other medications and supplements, and animal products can be used without restrictions. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian.
