Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Moderate Calorie Feline - veterinary diet for cats with digestive disorders. a complete dry diet for adult cats, recommended for pancreatitis and acute digestive disturbances. the combination of highly digestible proteins (l.i.p. proteins), prebiotics, beet pulp, rice, and fish oil provides maximum protection for the digestive system. the moderate energy content in the diet is recommended not only for pancreatitis but also helps control body weight in neutered or overweight-prone animals. digestive disorders often lead to poor appetite and weight loss. high palatability encourages food intake and supports recovery. long-chain omega-3 fatty acids (epa and dha) reduce skin reactions and maintain the integrity of the intestinal mucosa. use gastrointestinal moderate calorie dry food for at least 1–2 weeks for acute diarrhea and during recovery. for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, use for 3–12 weeks; for chronic exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, use lifelong.
