Royal Canin Urinary S/O Small Dog - veterinary diet for adult small-breed dogs with urinary tract diseases. Complete dry food for adult dogs weighing up to 10 kg for the treatment and prevention of urolithiasis (struvites and oxalates). Helps dissolve all types of struvite stones. Reduces the concentration of ions involved in the formation of struvites and calcium oxalates. Dilution of urine reduces the formation of struvites and calcium oxalates in the urinary tract. Sodium polyphosphate reduces calcium concentration in saliva and helps prevent tartar formation.
Indications:
Bacterial cystitis.
Struvite dissolution.
Prevention of recurrence of urolithiasis caused by struvites and calcium oxalates.
Contraindications:
Pregnancy.
Lactation.
Growth period.
Chronic kidney failure.
Metabolic acidosis.
Pancreatitis (including history of pancreatitis).
Hyperlipidemia.
Heart failure.
Use of medications that acidify the urine.
Rice, corn flour, dehydrated poultry protein, animal fats, corn gluten, hydrolyzed animal proteins (flavors), minerals, vegetable fiber, egg powder, wheat gluten, soybean oil, fish oil, fructooligosaccharides, marigold extract (source of lutein).
